Your first KAAI... how did it make you feel?
My first KAAI felt like a reward to myself. After hesitating for so long, I finally chose my Pyramid tote bag. It marked the start of a bag that would stay with me through some of my biggest milestones.
What KAAI memory always makes you smile?
Gifting the Men’s Bowler to my husband when he became a specialist eye surgeon is a memory I’ll never forget. It felt like celebrating his milestone the same way I celebrated mine with my first KAAI.
If your KAAI bag could talk, what stories would it tell about you?
It would probably say: “Good thing you have me to keep you organised in the middle of all your beautiful chaos.”

What’s the most unexpected place your KAAI bag has traveled with you?
Soon, it’ll be Southeast of Asia! My husband and I are heading off for three months of traveling through Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. And of course, my Ikon Belt Bag is coming with me.
What role does a great handbag play in your everyday life?
The slogan ‘carry your life’ feels made for me. Moving between my office and the university can be chaotic, and I used to need two bags just to fit everything. Now, my KAAI bag holds it all, and I always have exactly what I need with me.
What does being part of the KAAIwomen community mean to you?
It’s like being part of a community where women genuinely celebrate each other’s goals. There’s constant encouragement, inspiration, and a deep sense of belonging.
